Gallowglass Books is an independent publishing company based in Palm Beach, Florida, dedicated to creating beautifully crafted limited-edition hardcover books. We publish collectible editions of classic literature and significant works of nonfiction, pairing exceptional typography and premium bookmaking with original cover art and commissioned illustrations from contemporary artists.

Founded in 2023 by Shane Logan and Tony Ferry after graduating from college, Gallowglass Books grew from a shared passion for literature, philosophy, book design, and illustration. As lifelong book collectors, they recognized a growing gap between what discerning readers and collectors wanted and what many contemporary publishers were producing. The vision was to create books that are as rewarding to hold and display as they are to read.

Every Gallowglass edition is designed with longevity and craftsmanship in mind. From durable Smyth-sewn bindings and high-quality materials to carefully considered typography and original artwork, each volume is produced as an artifact. We believe great books deserve editions that honor their content. Most Gallowglass books feature an introduction or additional written material from someone interesting and original, who we believe adds value to that particular edition. 

Today, Gallowglass Books works with talented artists, writers, and thinkers to produce distinctive illustrated editions limited to a few thousand copies.
